Frequently Asked Questions / Troubleshooting

Q. What is considered a passing grade?

A. A score of 80% or higher is considered a passing grade. Prior to August 3, 2011, a score of 70% or higher was considered passing. If you took the quiz before this date, and received a score of 70% or higher, you are still considered to have passed the quiz.

Q. I completed the quiz a few days back, but I forgot to print the course completion certificate. How do I print it out?

A. Log back in to the AIA Academy site. Click on the "Brainbook" link either in the header or in the quick links. Brainbook will detect you have passed the quiz and send you to the certificate page.

Q. I lost my username / password. How do I log into my account?

A. Go to the login page and click the "I forgot my username" or "I forgot my password" link. They will assist you in recovering your username / password.

Q. Why can't I reset my password?

A. If you did not specify an e-mail address when you created your account, you will not be able to reset your password. You will need to contact AIA Academy for further assistance.

Q. After completing the quiz and pressing the submit button, I'm redirected to a page that says "No Results Found.” What do I need to do to be able to print my certificate?

A. Depending on your situation, there are a couple of solutions:

• You may not be logged in to your account. If you have been logged out of the site (the link in the top right hand corner will say "Login"), click the Login link to log back into the site. Then click the "Brainbook" link either in the header or in the quick links. Brainbook will detect you have passed the quiz and send you to the certificate page.

• The quiz results may not have been reported yet. If you are currently logged into the site (the link in the top right hand corner will say "Logout", click the Logout link to log you out of the site, and wait five minutes. Then click the "Brainbook" link either in the header or in the quick links. Brainbook will detect you have passed the quiz and send you to the certificate page.

• You may have duplicate accounts. If you have filled out the registration form more than once, you may have completed the quiz using your other username. Log in using the other account. Then click the "Brainbook" link either in the header or in the quick links. Brainbook will detect you have passed the quiz and send you to the certificate page.

Note: Even if you are still unable to print your certificate, your Athletic Director will be able to view students that have completed the course. Please contact them before attempting to contact AIA Academy.

Q: Why do I see "Server not found" or a similar error message within the Brainbook video player?

A: Your internet connection may not allow streaming video.  If you are using your school's internet connection, ask your Athletic Director, or another school representative, if streaming video is supported.  If not, you may need to use a different internet connection (at home, at a public library, etc.) to complete Brainbook.
